Mitzi Babich is founder and Principal of Illinois based AMO Group.

 

Prior to founding AMO Group, she spent six years as a lean process consultant with one of

the nation's largest health care insurers.  In her role there, she conducted over a hundred

workshops over a wide range of the organization's functionality.  The knowledge and 

experience gained over those years contributed to the design and real-world effectivness of

AMO's CIPPM™ platform.

 

In a thirty year career prior to her decision to focus exclusively on lean process optimization

and implementation, she held positions of Director and Vice President of Business

Development with two fast growth human resource consulting companies and General

Manager of a public traded oil and gas company.

 

Mitzi holds a degree in Business Management and Marketing.  She is a certified Lean Six

Sigma Black Belt.  She has attended numerous lean process, change management and

facilitation seminars and training courses in Agile and DevOps in addition to her formal education.

 

Mitzi grew up in Ogden, Utah, and has been a resident of the Western suburbs of Chicago

since 1990.
